CAS Mid Week Reminders - Sept 3rd

These are a few important reminders for all of our families:

When you are dropping your children off in the morning, picking up in the afternoon - please DO NOT park in bus parking. This is a no stopping area intended for our 10 School Buses and our 2 City Transit Buses.   No Exception. Please stay clear of the bus parking zones.

I am hopeful all parent drivers will remember the rules of the road and to respect the signs,. This keeps all of our students safe.  Please use the crosswalk. When you walk across the street with out the crosswalk, you are teaching the young children with you dangerous habits.  Please be safe around the school. This means drive slowly so you can stop for children, do not make "U" turns, use cross walks, and do not park in the school parking lot.

Bus Stops - all families should double check the bus stop you are assigned in power school - please. We will send all students home on the bus they are assigned in power school, unless we have something in writing, from you,  that suggests you wish for a different bus and stop location. 

Bed Time - we start really early in the morning. Your children are awake and getting ready for school very early. Please ensure your child is getting enough sleep to ensure they have a great day. Bed time for our youngest learners should be about 7PM.  Bedtime routines - early to bed needs to start now!  Thank you!

Also, there is an important update for bus J riders:

Following a safety audit, it was determined that the stop for J bus, would be relocated to “Eastbound Cornerstone Boulevard NE after Cornergate Row NE at mailboxes”.  This stop change will take effect on September 11, 2024.
