We are eagerly preparing the school for your arrival tomorrow. We can't wait to see you.
A few reminders for everyone...
7:50 is really early, please get a good night of sleep tonight. An early bed time will serve us all well! Please ensure you are early for the bus. parents, please don't block our buses or board the buses. However, you should say good morning to your bus driver and introduce yourself and your child when they board. If you haven't registered for the bus yet, you need to do that ASAP. Please send a note with your child if you have registered them for the bus over the summer.
NO kinders on the bus Thursday and Friday of this week. There are NO exceptions to this rule.
Grade 5 students - you are our leaders this year. Tomorrow morning when you arrive, we need your help and support to welcome all of the new students and ensure they know where to meet their teacher. Say good morning to everyone you see on the school grounds, ask their name and ask if they need help to find their teacher. We all appreciate you assisting us in ensuring everyone is welcome on these first few days and everyone knows where they need to be.
All students need to know their teachers names. No exception. Also, parents need to know their teachers names. These names were sent out in an e-mail to you either yesterday or this morning. Please ensure you record this information and share it with your child.
Grade 1's from Ms Philip's class - please look for Ms Swann in the morning. She will assist you on Thursday and Friday of this week.
Remember, tomorrow is a formal uniform day. We look forward to seeing everyone in their beautiful uniforms. Parents, if you are still looking for uniform pieces, I know there are many posts on Facebook Marketplace with uniform pieces. Those prices can't be beat!
Pick-Up at 2:35. If you are picking your child up at the end of the day, please ensure you have a meeting place established with your child. the meeting place can NOT be the front doors or inside the school. Arrange this in advance. If your child is a bus student and they will be picked up, ensure you send a note with them for the teacher and our office. Please do your best not to make changes through the day as our office is very busy and these last minute changes only add to the chaos. Especially on the first days of school.
