Thank You for Joining Us – Music Monday & Volunteer Picnic

On behalf of our staff and students, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of you who joined us for Music Monday and our Volunteer Tea celebration. Your presence helped make the day extra special, and we were truly delighted to share these moments with you.

Music Monday was a wonderful celebration of creativity and talent, and it was inspiring to see so many of you come out to support our students. Likewise, the Volunteer Picnic was our small way of showing appreciation for the time, energy, and care you so generously give throughout the year.

We are incredibly grateful for your continued support. Our school community is stronger and more vibrant because of your involvement. 

Reminders for School Bus Registration: Last date to Register is June 22 2025

All students who want to ride the bus in the 2025-2026 school year will need to register for the bus. If  you do not register for the bus, your address will not be included in the routes and it is very likely you will not have a stop located close to you.  Registration is done through your MyCBE account.

Outstanding Student Fees

All parents – please check your MyCBE account for all of your children. If there are outstanding fieldtrip fees, transportation fees or lunch supervision fees, kindly pay these fees.   Fees never get removed from your account. When fees are not paid, they remain on your account to be paid the following year.  It does cause the school tremendous work though, when your fees are not paid in time as we have to cover these costs until such time as the fees are paid. 

Grade 5 Farewell

Grade 5 students are invited to wear their “fancy” clothes, cultural clothing, their best at their farewell on Monday June 23.  Students are always welcome to wear their formal uniform if they prefer. Please, kindly, no sweat pants, t-shirts, jeans, hoodies. While these may be your favourite, they are not your best.  Thank you.

Sports Day

On Sports Day, all Kindergarten students will be attending. Kindergarten parents are also welcome to attend on this day to join your child in the festivities. If you are a Kinder parent and you are going to join your child for the day, we would appreciate if you would drive your child to school. On these special and unique days, when all kinders come to school, the buses can be rather crowded. Even if one or two families drive their kinders to school, it all helps. Thank you for your continued support and understanding on these fun days.

Spirit Days

They are coming, We anticipate spirit days to be the final two weeks of the school year. The Special Events Leadership Students along with teachers will be selecting the theme for these days and sharing with all families.  Look for more information in the next weekly message.
