School Office will be closed Monday from 1:40 – 2:30 for Music Monday.
Parking: Please do not drop off students in the staff parking lots or in the Bus zone. Thank you.
Music Monday
We will begin our performance at 1:45. We will be located at the back of the school. Please ensure you do not park in any bus parking (front of the school or the alley). Please ensure you provide our Alley buses with the space they need to get into and out of the alley. Buses are very large and have to maneuver safely.
If your child rides the bus, but, you are planning to take them home after Music Monday – please ensure you notify the school of your plans in advance. We will do bus attendance as this keeps our students safe. If your child is not riding the bus, and you haven’t shared this information with the school, then, all 10 of our buses will be held up while we are looking to ensure the safety of your child. Please ensure you let the school know in advance of Music Monday. Note the office closure on Monday afternoon!
Bring your own lawn chair to sit in.
Front row of small school chairs are reserved for our AMAZING Volunteers and our Bus Drivers! Thank you for putting your chairs behind our Volunteer Reserved Chairs.
Parents – when Music Monday is over, all students will move to their specific locations on the field or close to their exit doors. They will be gathering their things so they can go home. Please ensure you allow all students time to gather their things. Please ensure you say goodbye to their teacher when you take your child. This helps us know where students are going and with whom at the end of the day.
Volunteer Picnic
If you have RSVPd to the volunteer picnic – we look forward to seeing you! Please ensure you are at the school no later than 12 Noon so we can connect you with your classroom. There will be a very brief presentation in the classrooms at 12 noon sharp that you do not want to miss.
Parents, if you have not RSVPd to the volunteer picnic, it will be difficult for us to accommodate the last minute change as we have prepared gifts and mementoes for all those who let us know they would be attending. Please keep this in mind if you are “showing up” to the picnic with either a last minute RSVP or no RSVP at all. We appreciate your understanding and your grace in this tricky situation.
School Council
AGM and Meeting online this Thursday at 6PM.
School Council will have elections for a variety of positions. Those positions include (But are not limited to): Secretary, Fundraising, Casino Representative etc. We are always hopeful parents will support our efforts and get involved to help provide amazing opportunities for students.
We will also be discussing both Athletic Residencies and Arts Residencies for next year. Your ideas are always welcome!
